Businiess name:  Bertolini's Authentic Trattoria
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Bertolini's is an authentic Italian restaurant. The bartender is Italian & visting Italians (who come in for F1 etc) comment on how authentic the food is. As with any restaurant or bar, unless you specify the brand of liquor you prefer, they will use the house bottle which IS cheap alcohol. Bertolini's offers a variety of delicious spicy dishes (Penne Puttanesca is my favorite) and simple dishes like the Pomodoro or Spaghetti for those who have tamer tastes. As with any restaurant, it does get very busy during the holiday season, conventions, and Friday and Saturday nights. For a more romantic setting I recommend reserving a table during the week. Also consider asking the host for a private booth when making a reservation. Also, that cartoonish mural... its a painting of the Venice canal during the Carnivale (that's why the figures are all wearing masks.) Pros: Ambience, Online Reservation System, Kid friendly - but not recommended for kids Cons: Busy during holiday season, conventions
