Businiess name:  Bertolini's Authentic Trattoria
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
After a recent dinner here, I'm convinced there are no Italians in Indianapolis, because they would have shut down this place. First, the restaurant cheaps out the liquor--I sent back a Bellini because it bore no resemblance to any I'd had. Turns out, they use peach nectar instead of peach schnapps. The martinis were made with cheap vodka. The wine tasted like it came out a a box. (None of these drinks were cheaply priced) The food wasn't much better--very bland, as was the service. Further, the restaurant was NOT quiet or intimate, the tables are close together and you never get past that "chain restaurant at the mall" feel. Most bizarre was an enormous cartoonish mural of what looked like aliens in a Venice canal. I left feeling sorry for people here who think this is an "authentic trattoria. " Cons: wine and liquor, food, loud, lots of kids
