Review content:
The Philadelphia zoo is a great place to spend the day with your family. Each year the zoo features a new exhibit that keeps the kids interested from year to year.
The zoo has a number of notable improvements over the years. First is the zooballoon, where you can go up in a hot air balloon and view the city from miles above (good weather only!).
Another of our favorite stops is the exotic bird exhibit, where you get small cups of nectar to feed the birds. Children and adults are thrilled when a colorful bird sits on your hand drinking nectar from your cup.
Finally, another highlight is the Tree house. This is a large play area for kids to climb, explore and play. Beware, if you are prone to losing the kids, this is where it will happen.
