As a client of Aveda in Lafayette I had become accustomed to a certain level of professionalism. I did not experience that same level at the Aveda in Metairie. The person who did my hair not only complained the whole time about being ready to go home but also took her shoes off while working. She mentioned to another student more than once that if her instructors saw her that she would be sent home and that was okay with her. Her cell phone also went off twice while she was working on my hair. I love Aveda and the experiences I have had with the school in Lafayette as a client for over 4 years, but after two negative experiences in Metairie I believe it is time to find a new place to go. It saddens me that the two locations are so drastically different.
