Review content:
I took my mother to SG's to treat her to the lunch/massage special for mothers day. The massage was "just okay", definitely nothing special... though the massage therapist was very kind and professional. I left feeling no more relaxed or pampered than I had when I walked in the room... and I don't get massages on a regular basis, so I definitely haven't been spoiled for the experience. We waited in the very small, stuffy "quiet room" for quite some time until our lunches were brought to us. The menu selection was pretty sad... just salads and two sandwiches to choose from. We weren't offered any beverages, and all that was available in the room was citrus flavored water (not at all enjoyable in my opinion) and a pot with hot water... no tea bags to be found after much searching. We chose to stay in the quite room to read for a bit after lunch, and of the two options for reading light, one was a lamp with a burned out bulb. It is also important to mention that the "quiet room" is located just off the room that houses the spa salon, and salon employees made frequent, less than quiet trips to the beverage table. Overall, I was disappointed to have spent a fair amount of money for a less than relaxing and satisfactory spa experience.
