I heard about the Savannah School of Massage from a friend and gave it a try. The massages range from $30-$40 per hour and the students are very professional. If you want a relaxing massage then get an intermediate level student. Deep tissue is done by the advanced level students and graduates. If you book your appointment in advance, show up early to fill out the paperwork and discuss the massage with the student. The school has classes between the times when massage is given to the public, so don't expect to get a massage all hours of the day. Remember that this is a school, not a day spa, and the student may ask the instructor for help. Privacy is limited since the areas for massage have curtains instead of walls, but that didn't bother me. (Except when someone didn't turn off their cell phone and it woke me up!) If you have questions or are uncomfortable with anything, the students and staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. Overall, I would give the school 4 out of 5 stars, but with time I know they will continue to get better. Pros: Students are attentive, reasonable price (since they are a non-profit its tax deductible too!), great service, very professional Cons: Building could use some renovation
