Review content:
I've only had one experience with this hospital, about 2.5 years ago on July 4th, so our regular vet was not open. My dog's hind legs swelled to 3 times their normal size, so we rushed them to this practice from Athens. The vet who checked her out took her into a back room away from us to examine her, and brought her back to us. He did not send us home with any medication and said she'd be fine. The next day (a Saturday) her paws turned purple and were cold to the touch. Again we took her there, and again we were told she was fine. By the time we were finally able to take her to our vet, she knew exactly what the problem was and said she'd need to stay in hospital a few days to try and get rid of the infection through IV antibiotics. The infection did not respond and she needed some toes amputated. We never saw her again, because she passed away from surgical complications due to the infection. I blame the negligence and incompetence of the doctors at the Animal Emergency Hospital and will never return again. I would recommend driving to Atlanta in an emergency rather than go here.
Cons: Take animal away to examine, so you don't know what they're doing; incompetent vet
