Review content:
I have been to many zoos all across the country, and this is actually one of the best I have ever visited. I just love this place!
The original designers did a great job organizing the zoo, and the recent renovations have only improved things. There are lots of exhibits with glass walls that let you get close to the animals - not only with the sea creatures such as otters and seals, but also polar bears, penguins and some of the big cats!
Recent additions to the zoo such as the Northwest area and the seasonal butterfly exhibit are wonderful, and Lorikeet Landing, where you can feed the colorful birds, is alway fun. My kids love to feed the birds!
The zoo train is nice- it's too bad that you can't see the animals from it, but it is a pretty ride and the train is fun, especially for younger ages.
If you plan on coming often, you should get a family membership - it is very affordable and lets you come as often as you want during the year - a great value for some wonderful family entertainment!
