I've been in Atlanta for about 4 years and I've never been to Hot Wok.It was a Friday evening and we were deciding where to go for dinner and my husband suggested Hot Wok as I've never been there.So we reached there and when we entered we were not greeted with a smile by the greeter at the cashier.There was a weird smell inside the restaurant and it was looking dull inside with a damp feeling.We were shown to our seats and we were given the menu.We ordered 2 dishes, Chilli Chicken and Mixed Fried Rice.Mind you, while taking the order, she didnt smile even once.We were given 2 dinner plates and the plates had dust on them.We requested for another set of them.The food arrived pretty quick.However, we were shocked to see the quantity in there.The chilli chicken quantity was so less.And I couldnt believe we were paying $10 for that!The mixed fried rice looked good.......but when we saw the NON-DEVEINED shrimps, that put us off completely!!We requested the waiter to get another rice without the shrimp,he simply said he could not do it and walked away.When my husband took a bite of the chilli chicken, the meat looked pink inside.And that point of time, we just got up and went to the cashier and told her that the chicken was not cooked and the shrimp was not deveined.She gave no response.She turned her head to see our table and the food was lying there as is.She didnt bother to do anything.She just gave us the bill, my huband gave her the credit card,she swiped and we walked off. I have heard good reviews about this place in the past,but was shocked to see what we ended up with.I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.Extremely bad service, poor quality food,filthy place and very rude staff.DO NOT GO!!
