Review content:
I have just been through something that every child dreads, the aging, downturn and death of a parent. My father passed away only a few weeks ago. I was surprised that one of the most difficult issues surrounding his death was sorting through all of the things that he had accumulated over the years. Some of them were “treasures” and those were easy to put aside or share or save for later. Other things just needed to be disposed of so that we could turn his property over to the landlord. In a state of grief that seemed like more than I could handle and then I remembered Betty Benson and Rubbish Works of Portland. I had met Betty at a networking event. I remembered her telling us that her company specialized in cleaning out homes after a loved one has passed away. What a life saver! All I had to do was call her and tell her it was ready for her inspection and action. She comes in, gives an estimate (very reasonable) and takes it from there. Fast, easy, and a perfect solution to a very difficult situation! Priceless!
