PARAMOUNT CAROWINDS THEME PARK is the place to go in the area for entertainment for the entire family. Similar to Dollywood, they are closer to Charlotte than Dollywood.
PARAMOUNT CAROWINDS THEME PARK has 105 acres and has at least 50 state-of-the art rides, shows, and movie-themed attractions. It is about 12 miles from Rock Hill, South Carolina, and 15 minutes from uptown Charlotte.
They have unique rides such as the Borg Assimulator and Top Gun: the Jet Coaster.
They are open almost year-around, and they always have holiday-themed park for almost every holiday. I enjoy the one for Christmas the best, as the whole park is filled with Christmas things. The shows are fantastic and really get you in the Christmas spirit.
