Review content:
The stylists are always attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to do whatever style I ask for. I'm sure if I had let them do whatever they wanted, I would have ended up with something crazy, but I am always specific about what I want. This is my favorite salon in Atlanta, hands down, and the prices are reasonable as well. I moved here from a medium-sized town that had much pricier salons with horribly long waits, product pushing, and lots of catfights between the stylists. Everyone at KLP seemed genuinely happy to be there.
My only complaint is stylist turnover - I always see the same faces there but every time I call my stylist no longer works there. I've been through 4 stylists in less than a year there. All of Mimi's regulars seem to love her, and DJ (the owner) is one of the top colorists in the US.
The cuts can take over an hour and color is 2-1/2, but I felt it was due to the precision and attention. I didn't spend more than a minute or two in the waiting area.
I always get tons of compliments after going to Key Lime Pie, even from the other clients while I'm there! I highly recommend this salon.
Pros: friendliness of staff, atmosphere, skill
Cons: some staff turnover, music sometimes gets too loud
