Review content:
This store is in a sketchy-ish area near morse rd & cleveland ave, and the owner keeps the door locked (good idea!!) with a sign that says "knock for yarn". I guess if you look sketchy she doesn't let you in!! The owner is an older lady who often has another older lady as a companion with her. The store is small and filled with unlabeled skeins of red heart yarn. She has a lot of baby yarn and regular worsted weight acrylic yarn. There are also pattern books and other supplies for doll-making and macrame. The patterns are regular retail price and the yarn is 30 cents an ounce which can be a really good deal. However, there are no labels so you can't double check dye lots and there's no guarantee that she'll have the same thing if you don't buy enough the first time. She also has a bargain area where you can buy garbage bags full of yarn for 15 cents an ounce.
