Review content:
We heard of Sophia through a well-connected friend when asking around for Tampa realtors. Initially we'd planned on interviewing multiple people, but we liked Sophia so much upon our first meeting that we decided to stick with her. Having no experience in home buying, we needed someone who could walk us (slowly!) through every step of the process. Sophia is warm and friendly but also very knowledgeable about the areas we were initially looking at - Seminole Heights, Riverside Heights, and the surrounding neighborhoods. As a designer, I went into the house-hunt knowing what architectural styles I was interested in (I think I was probably quite picky) - Sophia proved to be well-versed in that regard as well. She shortlisted about 20 homes for us, which I then went through and culled down to 4-6 to visit. This process happened a few times, but Sophia remained patient and helpful throughout the process. When we decided to make our first offer, she walked us through the steps and recommended a lender that we also found to be extremely communicative and knowledgeable. Because of circumstances beyond our control, we did not end up buying a house at all. We felt terrible that Sophia had gone through all the work for us for nothing, but despite it not working out, Sophia was courteous and understanding even after we let her in on the bad news. In short, she's knowledgeable, personable, and we found her to be very in sync with what we wanted through the months we worked with her.
