Be sure to use the desk and not the book drop to return books. Also get a receipt while you are at it. It looks like someone on the staff is grabbing returned books and making off with them. This has been reported to the police, the library director and the managing company LSSI and each point the finger at someone else. Patrons are considered guilty until proven innocent. You will be automatically fined $50 per book regardless of the real value of the book. Pretty neat scheme, huh?
