I have visited this restuarant twice. The service is beyond the worst I have ever recieved but the food is shortly behind it. I have waited ten minutes to be sat and then waited another 15 for a member of the staff to get a drink order. Then I have sat and waited 45 minutes for a burger. The service here is terrible. The staff stand around talking and cursing with in ear range. The food is just as bad. This is suppose to be a seafood restaurant but there is hardly a nice seafood dinner on here. The Sunday brunch has a nice set up but he price and the food do not match. The food is bland and almost always luke warm. Also I have come to find out, the mimosas they server are non-alcoholic. The place looks run down and continues to be one of the biggest disappointments for a nice location. So if you are looking for a view and a good meal, I do not suggest going to The Castaway. If you have family you want to impress, I would not make your reservation here. Five years ago, this was a great place, today it is no place to remember!
