Review content:
I have been a Sears customer for over 20 years. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on tools, appliances, windows, 2 heating and cooling systems and most recently a kitchen remodel. After the horrible experience I have had with this most recent project, I don't believe I will EVER do business with Sears again. I live in Virginia and am dealing with the Richmond office. This is the most unprofessional group I have ever dealt with. From the beginning there has been a total lack of communication, I have had to play GC and schedule the subs and they missed the completion deadline of Thanksgiving. At this point, I don't believe we will be done by Christmas. I have written many emails and called to no avail. Even the management team is unresponsive and unapologetic. Lots of excuses, no apologies and very little action. To top it off, the project co-coordinator, without speaking to me for the past 3 weeks, submitted my job as completed and my account was billed. I was promised from the beginning that the job was not complete until I am totally satisfied and signed off on the job. I am not and have not. When I contacted the PC, she informed me that there was nothing she could do about the billing. In the mean time, my job is not complete and I am regretting ever doing business with Sears. I sent an email this past Wednesday, detailing my concerns and frustrations and asked that someone from the office contact me, they have not. At this point, I will never again recommend Sears to anyone and will not set foot in their stores.
