Review content:
We tried TC’s a few months back, and were very unimpressed. The environment is quite lovely but that was offset by the many limitations we found. Our instructors were not that knowledgeable in dance or teaching. Several times specific requests for a dance we wanted to learn were refused. We were told that would have to wait until we had purchased advanced packages, we would have to pay more to learn the dance we want to know. That did not make sense to us at all. What difference does the dance we wanted to learn matter? At the group lesson we attended the instructor leading the class actually did not know the steps, and this was for a basic class. Other students in the class had to help the teacher!! The club is very expensive. Lessons are only forty minutes long, and for most lessons five to ten minutes were wasted with chit-chat and promotion. After the introductory lessons, they wanted us to purchase a contract for twenty lessons. The cost for Twenty lessons was over One thousand and seven hundred dollars. Crazy. I suppose a world class dance instructor would be worth that much money but not the instructors we had contact with. Pros: Lovely location. Cons: So very expensive, instructors not knowledgable
