Businiess name:  Paradise India

Review content:
I have been for almost five years, and this is by far the best indian food in the city. Paradise India offers a thorough menu of South Indian food, serving many dishes that are very difficult to find in the midwest. They cook all their food in-house, so everything is fresh and nothing is pre-prepared (don't be in a hurry if you plan to dine here). Most notably, this restaurant offers dosa, an alluring delight consisting of a giant rice-flour crepe wrapped around your choice of vegetables and spices. I recommend the mysore dosa, if you can handle the heat. They also serve an array of Indian breads you may not have already heard of, such as chapati and paratha, both staples of true indian cuisine. Their entrees include many of the familiars such as korma, curry, butter chicken, biryani and vindaloo as well as several lentil dishes. I also recommend the chef's specialty, the madras chicken...this dish is full flavored but not overpoweringly spicy, and will give you a taste of the exotic flavors of the subcontinent. Although this extensive menu features several chicken dishes, for those needing a lighter selection, Paradise India offers a 12-item Weight Watchers menu and a 'garden menu' featuring meat-free dishes that use fresh vegetables (yes, you may let your server know if you need a vegan dish). For those who prefer red meat, both lamb and goat are served. And those craving sea fare, shrimp and fish dishes are available. This restaurant offers the most comprehensive menu and provides the best variety and quality of South Indian dishes in the entire city. If you enjoy Indian food, I encourage you to visit this place. Its surprisingly located in the Overland Park suburb, easy to find on the south side of 135th St between Metcalf and 69 Highway. No time to sit for dinner? They offer a lunch buffet and take-out options. Check out the menu at their website, kcparadiseindia(dotcom).
