Businiess name:  Joan & Ed's Deli Restaurant
Review by:  Theodore C.
Review content:
There aren't many places locally that one can get themselves a grilled reuben or rachel. There aren't many local places in Boston or Cambridget that one can get a beef tongue sandwich or potatoe latkes or great sides of coleslaw and pickels. Joan and Eds is the place. I love to pair coming here with a movie or shopping. I love having Beef Tongue (if' you've never had it, don't reject it! Try it!). This place has excellent food, friendly service and deserts that are incredible (rice pudding, tapioca etc). The matzoh ball soup is something that is very hard to find locally and you can order Matzoh balls as a side order. Additionally you get a takeaway cup with certain drinks. The environment is fun. The walls are covered with lots of sayings about dining and family etc. As you wait for your order you can read the walls. Up front you can also have some of the food to go, including deserts. There is also a back page which has large meal specials for around ten dollars. Again, if you love sandwiches, deli style sandwiches or liver and onions or chicken pot pie or a big burger, this is the place to sit and hang out. Breakfast is always an option here as well. Enjoy.
