Review content:
The swimming pool and access to Lake Harris is a very nice feature of Lake Harris Lodge. However, the accommodation is definitely not worth the money. The cottage was very dirty. I took a shower and stepped on to the bathroom floor (right after check in) and my feet were black with hair and stuff stuck to the bottom. We had put on sandals to get out of the shower. The kitchen was okay but kitchen towels/hand towels were not provided/garbage bags, the basics. In addition, there was year?s worth of dust on the fake flowers in every room and the decorations on the wall. For 80 dollars a night, this place is not worth your money. It is just not clean. A positive, the people that own the place are very friendly. Also, just as an FYI, the cottages are part of a more permanent mobile home area.
Pros: swimming pool, access to Lake Harris, nice staff
Cons: The cottage was very dirty, kitchen towels/hand towels were not provided/garbage bags, the basics, and the cottages are part of a more permanent mobile home area
