Review content:
The first time I used Fort Knox, they made a scheduling mistake and to compensate me, sent 4 men instead of 2. But then they charged me for the additional men. So I paid twice as much as they had quoted me and got zero discount. The next time I used them, I figured if I rented a U-haul and did the boxes myself, they would just move the furniture and it would be cheap. I worked for days to leave them next to nothing. It took them 5 hours and almost $1000 to move LESS. (Again, at TWICE the quoted price) They also broke my television. It was the last thing on, the first thing off, and they broke it. It wasn't an accident, it was gross negligence on the part of the person tying it up. But they refused to cover it and the manager snootily said "Bet you wish you'd gotten the insurance NOW" It was my only valuable, a 52-inch TV. It needed to be safe for 10 minutes. If I can keep one person from making the huge mistake of using this company, I'll be pleased. If you do use them, purchase the 90 dollar(!) insurance as you very well may need it. Their insurance is also "By the pound" so if I had purchased it, my wrecked light-weight bigscreen would've netted me back about $100.
Pros: Sturdy Movers
Cons: Beyond Expensive, Unethical, Slowwww Workers
