This has been on my To Do List; to write to praise Wizard of Wood flooring for the work they
did, for their reliability, and for their friendly, considerate, hardworking employees.
Pete and Mike were our guys. Pete introduced himself and his partner Mike, to the
two of us first thing and we liked them right away. They went right to work.
What nice guys. They repaired the family room floor and unless you are very picky you wouldn't notice where the repair was done. Pete matched the stain and the wood very well. He also did a repair
to the kitchen floor that even the fussiest of persons would never be able to detect.
As for my studio- that terrible abused hardwood floor is now a masterpiece of
perfection. I like just looking at it. I like going in the room, a former hovel, which is
now neat and organized and I plan to keep it that way.
And just a suggestion. They need to Hang on to that secretary who answered the phone and
delivered the wood. She was very helpful in answering my questions.
I've already recommended them to a friend who wants work done.
In case I haven't made it clear with the above writing. I am 100 per cent satisfied with everything about wizard of wood flooring did. We don't have a single complaint.
On a personal note about contractors
We have some painting done and, although they did a decent job, they left at the end of the
day without putting any of the faceplate back on the outlets. So what do I remember?
That.
We had windows put in and after being gone for a while I came into the house with all of
the men having lunch at our dining room table. I would be happy to have them let them do that
but it seemed assumptive to not have asked permission. The guys from Wizard of wood flooring even asked to if they could use our bathroom which I wouldn't find necessary but that was very considerate.
We had some tiles taken up in our front hall, by another company and without any advice or warning from the workers all the dust and c
