STAY AWAY. We thought this place was the answer to our prayers. A one stop shop for our whole kitchen. Product selection seemed great, but that's the only positive. They would not listen to where we wanted our seam because I had concerns regarding where our dishwasher was. We thought they were the pros and new better then we. Got floor tile, back splash, and granite from them. Floor tile came in right away. No problems, great product. Part of the back splash came in, but other parts are still on order and we're constantly being told when it will be here. That day always comes and goes. Now on for the good stuff. When we finally were ready for the granite, their machine goes down. That can happen. When it arrives, they seamed the piece over the dishwasher. Exactly what we didn't want. Plus, if you're a professional you would know never to seam over a dishwasher. The cuts were rough which made the seam look horrible. I called the place during the install and argued with them over the process. They called the installer while I waited on the phone and had him take pictures. They looked at the pictures and kept telling me its fine. I kept telling them it wasn't, I'm looking at the actual seam, and they were looking at a picture from a phone. The next surface was bowed. How can granite bow? The problem was with the forth surface. It wasn't cut square. It was off on two sides. The fifth surface had been damaged and repaired. They almost got away with it, but I found it. The installer couldn’t tell me what it was, but I knew. Wish I could post the pictures. At this point we were done. I told them to take everything out and I would take my chances with disputing the charges and work. I tried calling the company but they did not answer. So the wife and I got in the car and went over there. We arrived and went inside. While waiting the owner came in and looked at me while saying what’s new? I said well things didn’t go as you planned this morning, but before I say anything else, he yelled to his sales rep to give us refund. That was the end of it. Wish that would have happened sooner. I still had to buy the backsplash, but that was ok. Did I mention I could easily move every one of the surfaces? They hardly put any glue on them. Stone Surfaces in Rockville also holds a D- rating with the BBB. Check it out for yourself.
Wish I could have given 0 stars, but that may have been unfair because the tile we picked for the floor was great..
