Review content:
If you've ever grown a Dahlia flower you know how addictive it can become to get more and more of them and in different colors, shapes and sizes. Swan Island Dahlia is huge and has about 1000 varieties to choose from.
If the tuber you purchase doesn't grow, you just call them and they will ship you a replacement the next year. They give you complete growing instructions but it does sometimes happen.
They also have a weekend or two when their dahlia farm is open and they have food and flowers everywhere. It's fun to take the kids and pick out what you want to purchase for next season simply by seeing it in bloom.
I met the original owner. He's an old farmer who loves his flowers and now loves growing lemons in his green house. He always wears striped overalls. You can't miss him. Now is kids are running the place.
