Review content:
The historic Weekly Register-Call has been sold to David Spellman on June 26, 2009. To keep the 147 years of continuous publishing going, Spellman then formed a partnership with Aaron Storms, Publisher and Editor of a larger competing local newspaper, the Gilpin County News. They are now the co-owners and co-publishers of the newly merged Weekly Register-Call, with Storms being the Managing Editor and point of contact, and publishing has been moved to the City of Black Hawk, Colorado. Rebranding is in process for the websites and contact info, but temporarily contact can be made through the www.gilpincountynews site or via email to aaron.storms@gilpincountynews, and phone at 303-582-0133. Pros: Best news coverage in Gilpin County
