I, in fact, DID return. Having read other posts, I knew that I would only be offered a re-cut with the same stylist. She was very nice - just not particularly skilled as a hairstylist. This isn't personal, it's business - when I go into a hair salon, and pay the amount you charge, I expect at least someone who is versed in *style* not simply trimming. Unable to guide her in style, there could be no satisfaction, see? Original Post I hoped I was wrong, but I had a feeling I was in for a not-so-great haircut while i was waiting for my stylist. Both stylists had awful hair-do's - one had her hair unceremoniously up in a tight ponytail - long, totally unstyled hair, and the other looked like she had just taken her curlers out and hadn't combed through the hair. I was concerned that if they didn't care to do their own hair, should I be letting them do mine? I showed my stylist the picture of the haircut I wanted. She glanced at it for no more than 2 seconds and then cut my hair to the length described in the picture with none of the style. Basically a hair trim. I asked if she could take out some weight, so she took out the comb-scissors and tenatively removed a few sections of hair and started putting away her supplies - i said again that it didn't appear to be enough weight off my hair, so she went through the same brief motions again and looked finished - The hair cut lasted 15 minutes with no shampoo or hair-dry. I'm not an expert myself, so I have a hard time directing a stylist to cut my hair to frame my face properly so, exasperated, I left with the promise that if I didn't like my haircut I could go back. I'm definitely going back to have them fix the hair (though I don't have high hopes) and after that will NEVER EVER go there again. Please save yourself the trouble and the money - you can go to super-cuts and get the same haircut for half the price - or shell out an additional $15 and get it done by a stylist. I wish I had.
