Review content:
I was a patient of this group for over 10 yrs. In that time period, I was seen by several different Doctors.
I was somewhat satisfied with their service until I needed a referral to an outside physician. This group consists of a variety of specialties. I needed to see a bariatric surgeon. They didnt provide one.
Well, they outright refused to refer me, even though I needed the consultation. They never documented my ailments or treatment plans in my medical records.
When I switched to another physicians office, they had the nerve to charge them for my medical records. Then, they left out a whole year of medical records.
I wrote to the Head Physician at the group and asked him why he wouldnt refer me and he didnt reply. Then, I wrote another letter to the group asking them to explain why they didnt document in my medical records.
Two weeks later, a woman called to explain that they couldnt do anything for me. I went off on her and told her that I was spreading my opinion about my cult-like experience.
2 Days later, I got a letter from the head Physician saying he was discharging me from the group. Once again, too little, to late.
I also suspect, and this is only my opinion, that I was falsely led to believe that I had gallbladder disease and underwent unnecessary surgery to have my gallbladder removed. This is only my suspicion but I have talked to many people who had very different symptoms than I experienced before they had their gallbladders removed.
Of course, this is just my opinion but I would recommend that you think twice and check around before you go thru with this group.
