Located among the strip of gay-friendly bars and establishments on 17th street near Dupont Circle, Universal Gear is no exception, catering mostly to gay men seeking fitness and casual ware. That shouldn't stop other fashionable men from taking a look around however. They have fairly good prices on a variety of sportsware and athletic accessories and frequently have sales on seasonal merchandise.
