Review content:
So far I have had pretty good experiences with the Lakeshore Produce Market. It's very handy and easily accessible from several major streets and has plenty of parking, though their lot is awkwardly shaped. They have a good selection, though no better than any grocery store's produce section. Prices are better than your average grocery store and worse than your local Wal*Mart Supercenter (but that's not even remotely surprising). The items I bought were all very fresh and tasty and I highly recommend their vine-ripe tomatoes! Delicious. Overall though the thing that sets this produce market above all others I've been to in Jax (grocery stores notwithstanding) is that it's AIR CONDITIONED! It's very nice to go to a real produce market that has A/C so you don't have to roast and endure flies while you shop. Overall, I recommend it but it's not good enough to stop me from picking up some fresh produce when I do my usual grocery shopping.
