Had someone different than my usual do my teeth cleaning. Did a good job cleaning, but I was berated throughout the session about flossing, using toothpicks, even trays and on and on and on. I realize it is the job of the hygienist to make patients aware of teeth and gum healthy practices. I expect to hear reminders when getting teeth cleaned but Kim I think went too far, as the subject didn't let up. She was friendly and full of suggestions which was fine. But it continued way too long and became agitating rather than helpful. She carefully recorded in the patient file all that had been brought to my attention and wrote that I had thus committed to following all the instructions given before my next appointment. It began to feel like I had been sent to the principals office and was now on report to improve before being seen again. Overkill Kim. Please lighten up.
