Review content:
I had my daughter in the after care program at Kinder Care off of Cumberland Parkway in Mechanicsburg. The administrative staff is a Clique that gangs up on it's staff and only likes a few of the staff who get preferential treatment. The Administrative staff is rude to the parents an the staff does not hold up their end of the bargain for the expense incurred to the parents. They were supposed to help my daughter with her homework in the aftercare program and they rarely did this. When I was checking over the center to possibly move my younger daughter there they had an intern with purple hair, piercings all over her face, pants with the biggest bell bottoms I had ever seen that were soaked up to the knees b/c they dragged on the ground and it was raining...i guess she walked to the center. This was the example they were setting for the 3 and 4 year olds at the center. I was appalled. Also, there were many safety hazards. Sharp bookcases dividing rooms with sharp corners that were not covered. A bathroom off the toddler room that had all kinds of poisonous supplies and a bucket and mop in it, and it was filthy! Needless to say, I immediately pulled my daughter from the aftercare and completely decided against putting my toddler in there. I am surprised that they are still open. Pros: Close to rte15 Cons: everything
