Review content:
The Sebring Historical Society has an enormous amount of historical research information available. Their purpose is to protect, preserve and to share records, photographs and stories of people, events and customs of the history of Sebring and Highlands County. They have wonderful displays available and their research materials include books published by the Sebring Historical Society, city directories from as early as 1926, a listing of Highlands County Commissioners from 1921 to present, maps, newspapers from 1912 - 2004, telephone books from 1947 - 2004, quarterly bulletins published by the Society, Post Office records from 1893, Sebring Tax Rolls from 1913 - 1914 and 1916 - 1925, Teen Town Sign-in Sheets from 1946 and 1948 - 1952, Tapes of Historical Society Programs and lots, lots more - all combined with a helpful, competent staff.
