Review content:
I hadn't been to the new Back Forty but had been to the original in Pleasant Hill before and had throroughly enjoyed it. Wow...what a difference! I took my wife and two grown children for a brithday dinner back in January. It was terrible. After a long wait to get seated, then a longer wait to get someone to acknowledge we were here, we finally got waited on. The appetizer and food took a long long time. We had to hunt for the waitress to get about anything. The only thing worse than the service was the food and the prices. Our rib combo was dry and pretty much tasteless, the beef ribs were mainly bone with little meat. The salad looked like it had been dumped directly from a pre-mix lettuce bag from the grocery store. My daughter's steak, the most expensive, filet mignon, medium well, was bloody red...she wouldn't eat the whole thing. No one to complain to... I really expected a lot more for my $125 tab. Sorry to be so negative but there just were no positives the evening we were there. We won't be back.
Pros: Looks nice inside.
Cons: Service, food, price.
