Review content:
I live in this hood and the crowd here has become increasingly preppy and obnoxious. The East Village rock club vibe is gone. Now it’s a bunch of 19 year olds in popped collars & tube dresses. I came Saturday for a bday and was treated poorly at the door. I asked if the party was downstairs, she glared at me and said yeah, how many are you? Two. She said, when your whole party is here, you can go. My friend was next to me. She rolled her eyes and moved the rope. If you insist on lists and rules, don’t give people a hard time if they follow them. Bottom line: the space is really cool but there are better places for $8 drinks & loud music.
