Review content:
I could say a number of wonderful things to describe Transmission Corporation of America but the one word that sticks out in my mind is PERFECT. I have the highest regards for this business and all the employees there. I have never been treated with more courtesy at a repair facility. Usually a repair shop will try to take advantage of me , seeing that I am a female but Transmission Corporation of America treated me with respect and dignity. I'm sure the manager at the Kingston Pike location of Transmission Corporation of America did not know my father made his living as a transmission rebuilder while he was alive. Nor did the manager know I was well versed in the automotive repair feild , specifically transmission repair since my father tried to teach me everything he knew. I already knew the problem with my car when I brought it in but I did not tell Jack, the manager, that I knew. I wanted to see if he, like all the other shop managers I had dealt with over the past couple of weeks, would try to take advantage of me since I was a woman. However, to my surprise, Jack was very honest with me about the condition of my transmission. I knew from past experience that I only needed a vehicle speed sensor and on my particular transmission this could be replaced externaly. The other shops I had visited had tried to tell me they either needed to remove my transmission to tell me what was wrong and one shop had told me it would cost nearly 2,500 to rebuild my transmission completely. I was so happy when Jack at Transmission Corporation of America told me the truth I already knew. Jack told me I needed a vehicle speed sensor and it was only going to cost a little over 100 dollars. I was so happy to realize I had finally found a transmission shop with good ethics and an honest manager. So this is for all the women out there seeking an automotive repair facility who will treat them honestly and fairly: GO TO TRANSMISSION CORPORATION OF AMERICA. THEY WILL TREAT YOU RIGHT!!! Pros: thumbs up- this place does NOT try to take advantage of women Cons: I only have positive things to say about this place, there is NO NEGATIVE
