Review content:
Hi guys. Don't want the guys at Principle Moving To freak out; this is actually a good review. The reason I gave 1 star is because people tend to pay more attention to the bad reviews other than good, plus you guys have a lot of 5 stars so I decided to mix it up a little. I wouldn't say that it was a great experience all the way around, but you know what, the result is what really matters. I submitted a request online and started getting all those phone calls from a whole bunch of moving companies. Some were calling from NY some from FL others even from IL. I was moving from Kernesville NC to Brooklyn NY and was really looking for a local company. I got a call from principle and by that time was tired from phone conversations so I insisted on having an onsite done. The next day the person came to my house, surprisingly on a motorcycle, a handsome young fellow: tall, dark long hair, blue eyes. He had a copy of the contract with him for me to review and a list of references which was very helpful because I did call some of them up. At the day of the move the truck was a little late, so I started to get a little nervous, I called the office and no one answered the phone, luckily the onsite guy left me his card so I called his cell phone directly. The move was supposed to start between 7-8am on Sunday. Tim (on site guy) explained that office opens at 10 on Sundays and that the crew leader or the foreman was supposed to contact me, which he apparently didn't. When the crew finally arrived they said that there was a truck malfunction or something, but still didn't explain why I was never called. From that point I was very skeptical about the whole move. Before signing the contract I instructed the guys of how I want everything to be made. I specifically requested the furniture to be padded and shrink wrapped. The way the guys were working made me feel very secure, and then I realized where all the good reviews came from. The guys really did an amazing job of protecting all my furniture. My leather sofas were padded and shrink wrapped as I requested, beds taken apart and also padded, there was not a single item that was left without a pad. After the guys loaded everything I expected the deliver to be made within 10 days. A week down the road they called me and said that the truck will be there Saturday morning. That Saturday the driver called me and said he is running late and will only be able to make it in late afternoon. So I sat at home all day waiting for the delivery, which was very frustrating. After the truck came, there were the same 2 guys that picked everything up in Kernesville. They looked tired and beat up but insisted to unload everything the same day. I was a little worried that they might damage some of the furniture, but surprisingly everything went just as good as it did on the other end. The guys were very professional and energetic despite the fact that they probably didn't sleep for the past couple of day. At the end of the move I checked every piece of furniture, which I strongly advice to do, everything was in the same condition. At the end I would like to thank principle movers and their support through out the whole move. I hope you guys get a lot of business.
