We let them do a cleaning. They frightened us with warning of critically needed work totaling more than $6000. Then they came over with TV camera to show problems, which of course I couldn't see but I am a lay person. This 2 minute operation cost $150 but would be deducted, they said, from the 6000 if we did the work. On recommendation of our handyman of 20 years, we got a second opinion from a very well established, family owned firm in Skokie. They said that at most we needed $1200 worth of work (now done) and that, by the way, the cleaning done previously by "ET" was not very adequate. I guess they figured we had the money so soaked us good, but thank heavens, only for the cleaning and bogus TV show : $250, not $6000!
