Review content:
My boyfriend and I took a long weekend trip to Key West in early October. Upon arrival, we were checking in and the front desk attendant announced my room so other guests could hear my room number. (not happy about that). On top of that mishap- parking was 20 bucks were day. When we got to our room, there was a black mark on the sheets, the towels in the bathroom had holes in them and the maid walked in the room unnanoucned. After all these things had happened, and wanting the sheets changed and new towels, we headed down to the lobby to voice our concerns upon the first hour at the hotel. We were given an upgrade to a suite on the second floor with a huge balcony overlooking duval st. The room was a bit older (as is the hotel) but it was a nice upgrade from the issues we had before. The only complaint about the room was the hall smelled of smoke, as all rooms were smoking rooms. Other than the first day mishaps, the hotel was great... perfect location ... a bit loud at night when trying to get to bed around 3am-4am... if you face duval st... you will hear the crowd coming home from the bars. Loved Key west... would probably pick a different hotel next time though.
