Fondi Pizzeria

Review content:
From the moment I walked in I felt Fondi was nothing more than a cheap, soul-less imitation of Tutta Bella. The menu is strangely identical, but the food prep and service were completely lacking. The Bella Chopped Salad, which is an obvious rip off of Tutta Bella's Napoli Salad, was drown in dressing, which wasn't very flavorful either. Their pizza crust was soggy, likely from being gas vs. wood fired. It's about as authentic as the strip mall it's in. I guess if you're not really into quality food, this place will do the trick. But for those who appreciate an establishment that takes real pride in the quality of its food preparation, service and customer experience, Fondi is a disaster.
Pros: There's something new for folks in the South End
Cons: It's a really bad imitation of an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria
