Review content:
I've been coming here all my life and is one of the top 5 things I miss most about not living in California anymore. Every time I come back to visit, Mi Casa is usually my first meal. I also try to make it back a few more times before it's time again to leave.
My favorite menu items are the chiles rellenos, enchiladas, and the SHREDDED BEEF TACOS!!! Without a doubt, these are the most delicious, juicy, and satisfying tacos of my life. Be forewarned, though, they're not ergonomic like something you'd get at taco bell. The tacos are so stuffed with tacoee goodness that you typically have to attack them with a fork for the first few bites.
The house salsa is great and I can never recall a time when I was in need of more complimentary chips- they just keep coming.
This place uses cheese. A lot of it. So if you're not into cheese, be sure to mention that at the outset! If cheese is your thing, though, prepare for a cheesy dream!
The Mexican rice and refried beans are also my favorite of any Mexican restaurant I've been to and they come with all the combos.
Overall, I'm just super excited for my upcoming holiday trip to Cali so I can once again eat myself stupid at Mi Casa :)
