Review content:
I have been studying leadership, team dynamics, and personal growth since before I served as a Naval Officer starting in 1987. The difference between my prior training and studying and what PSI teaches is the fact that PSI's programs are experiential instead of intellectual. It's not just book learning that goes into the head. It's experiential learning that impacts the emotions, the heart. It was amazing how many times I reacted in a way that was contrary to the way I thought I would, which led to some amazing self-discovery and change for the better. I was introduced to PSI by a friend I met at another leadership event. I was so impressed by his calm, assertive energy and success both personally and professionally that I decided to take the PSI Basic seminar in September 2010. In the last year I completed the remaining courses, as well as staffing or coaching every program. Looking back to Sept 2010 from Oct 2011, I would have told people they were crazy if they had told me how my life would change in just one year. I relocated from the Washington, DC area to Denver to be closer to my friends, I attracted a new job in a new career after arriving in Denver, I competed in my first triathlon in mid-September, and I am building a home overlooking Standley Lake (and those are just the most obvious changes). I am much happier, calmer, healthier, fitter, and have friends who support me and challenge me in a way I've never experienced before. Thanks PSI Seminars!
