Review content:
I have dined at M5 at least 10 times for lunch and dinner, mostly dinner on the weekends. The decor is great but it is always the food that brings me back. It is not cheap so do not expect huge portions for a small amount of money like you would expect at a run of the mill chain restaurant. The portions are absolutely adequate and many nights I cannot finish my plate after starting with one of M5's delicious appetizers (my favorites are the hummus and the cheese plate). I am not sure what the reviewers who gave M5 a low rating are used to eating and I cannot imagine what size portion they expect to get if they are not satisfied with their M5 entree. I appreciate quality ingedients and unique dishes which is what I have always received and I have been willing to drive 40 miles round trip for each visit. This is not Mediterranean food like you get at the Kabob Grill (which is also a great place to eat), rather, it is influenced by ingredients from Spain and the surrounding areas. Hats off to Tom and the great staff at M5.
Pros: Great staff, delicious food.
Cons: Can be hard to get a table on the weekends.
