I've been doing Pilates on and off for almost 3 years now, but Core Pilates helped me get SERIOUS about it! I went from going once every couple of weeks to three times a week, and I'm addicted! The instructors are knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. They help you figure out your trouble spots and make you power through exercises you didn't think you could. You don't get away with ANYTHING, and that's a good thing! Think you can just watch a workout video or go to a mat class to experience Pilates? One private or semi-private session at Core will prove just how wrong you are - and the results will, too. I'm constantly being adjusted or reminded to shift or squeeze or scoop, and each tiny adjustment helps me feel the exercise that much more. One last note, the fabulous instructors at Core can help ease back or neck pain, not just help you get a lean sexy body. My husband suffers from back pain (bad posture coupled with sitting at a desk all day) and he started coming to Pilates to help relieve some of the pain. He now goes once a week and when he skipped a couple weeks his back pain came back noticeably.
