Review content:
This beautifully preserved adobe gem from Tucson's heyday is as tranquil and luxurious now as it was when it first opened. Though the hotel and its lovely casitas are now surrounded by neighborhoods and a thriving city, it holds all the charm and grace that first brought lodgers through its gates.
Of particular note is the wonderful cuisine of Chef Frank X. Hartigan in the hotel's gorgeous and intimate restaurant. I found perfection in the four entrees Ive had from the rotating menu, each delicious in their classical execution but with a decidedly modern flair and loving touch.
Poets Corner, the bar and lounge and its beautiful patio adjacent to the restaurant is the ideal location for a cool drink on a warm desert night. The whole Lodge invokes the feeling that youre being welcomed into the sumptuous and gracious home of a dear friend. Highly recommend!
Pros: Intimate, Elegant, Unique
