I don't know whose idea it was to put two drive-thrus at this McDonalds, but it doesn't make the line go any faster. In fact it is slower. You still have only one person taking orders at any one time, and I can't tell you how many times I have heard the word "car swap" and see customers handing orders back through the window. I personally spent 15 minutes in line more than once, because the wrong order was handed out. As a customer who visited this restaurant before it was "renovated" I can honestly say that the drive-thru lane was faster when it was just a single lane. Not to mention the frustration when you get "cut-off" twice by customers in the other lane. This is needless frustration for a slower service. I can't tell you how many times I actually make it a point to enter town from the east side, merely to avoid this simple frustration. My other complaint is that this restaurant is a franchise, which means their price is generally higher than the standard McDonalds. You know that McDouble that is advertised for $1.00 on T.V.? They were selling it for $1.30 a few months ago, while the corporate one at Mt. Berry and on Turner were selling it for the $1.00 advertised price.
