I have been a native Houstonian for years, and not a single place in town compares to the mystique of this place. The service is exceptional, the food is wonderful (esp the chaat corner on the weekends), and the decorations are authentic and beautiful. This place has fairly won the attention from its competitors - it is a must try. trust me and visit, you will not be disappointed. There are certain places where you will love to dine over and over again, and India's is one of them.
