My whole family has been training at Family Kicks Taekwondo for about three years now, and we LOVE IT!! We were very excited that we found an activity that we can all do together. The schedule offers Kid and Adult classes along with Family classes. We are able to take the same class except for my 5 year old. They have a great program for young children, my daughter, Samantha (also known as little ball of energy) is 6 years old. When she started class she was all over the place, she couldn?t sit still to save her life. After only a few months of classes she was sitting still and focusing what the instructor was saying and was able to follow the directions given. Her teachers really noticed a difference in her! Now she a leader in her class! Master Null and his staff has also really helped my son, Ryan (12) control his temper. He used to get frustrated learning something new, when he would make a mistake or not break a board he would get mad, and throw stuff or say inappropriate things. Master Null has taught him to pause, take a deep breath, and try again, at Taekwondo and at School!! And then there is my oldest, Claire, (15). All is can say is that it is a great feeling knowing that if she is ever in the situation where she needs to defend herself that she has not only learned the skills to defend herself, but has also gotten the confidence to use them. I feel sorry for the creep that messes with her. My husband and I love that we have something in common with our kids that we can all be excited about doing together. Let?s face it, the older the kids get, the less parents have in common with them, Family Kicks Martial arts has really brought our family back together. Pros: Great Instructors, Clean facility Cons: no sunday classes
