Buyer BEWARE!!!! I reserved 2 rooms. When we arrived they had the sprinklers running across the sidewalk, yes we got wet. Then we went in and saw pictures of the family. It did not feel quaint and neutral. We joked that family would arrive, wonder why we were there and charge us a nights fare for the discomfort. Then the B&B materials said use the large screen TV and DVD downstairs but there was no remote to turn off the narration of the movie in the background and no cable programs to be found. After we came back from a nice dinner we found the hottub and fish pond in the back , advertised as amenities on the website, were not working nor even had lights to see in the dark. Next, we go upstairs where the rooms & upstairs kitchen are; only to find the fridge was broken and we had to through out our "to go" food. Also, the rooms have 12" TVs that only do VCR. OK let's take a shower, the hot water was tepid after the first shower; and we had separate rooms. My friend gave up but not me, I like paying for this kind of disservice. Next morning I told the owner about all this and she said "oh really" and served a nice breakfast. Night 2; I expect to sleep in because I'm off work, but I am awakened by Ali their wiener dog, also advertised on the website, at 6:30am. She barks for 45 minutes so I call the owner who said she had to pick up her grandkid and forgot to put the dog "in her room". After another nice breakfast she says I gave you a little discount because of the "hottub and dog wakening". I looked and saw a 10% discount. I came home to warn everyone. They are conflicted about running a business and giving up their home not to mention coming up way short on hospitality. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Comfortable beds and upstairs living area.
Cons: 12" tvs, Fridge broken, hot tub broken, large screen TV unusable, family pictures everywhere.
