Review content:
Technician Heath Holleman came across as being a bit short on integrity. He seems to be a "know-it-all" and he talked down to me at the same time he was trying to sell his services. On the phone he said there was a non-refundable $25 trip charge and a $45 "diagnosis" charge, but then he charged $75, not $70. However, his "diagnosis" was basically a guess at the problem's cause and he did no testing of the refrigerator whatsoever. He quoted $220 for a part, which I later found on the web for $19.67, and bragged about having saved us $20 over the $240 he said he had charged someone else a week before. He got offended that we didn't give him the repair job right then and there and he would not take a check, though he never mentioned that restriction on the phone. On top of that, he would not guarantee the work if we had gone ahead with it. Whew! I'm guessing he makes most of his money on the trip and diagnosis fees. I called another company who knew exactly what the problem was, fixed it quickly, had the correct parts, and charged very fairly.
